Note : He died of fever' বাক্যটি একটি intransitive verb (die) দ্বারা গঠিত। সাধারণত intransitive verb এর passive হয় না। তবে কিছু ক্ষেত্রে কারণ নির্দেশ করতে passive form ব্যবহৃত হয়। এখানে 'He was caused to die of fever' হলো সঠিক passive form।

খ) He was considered to be a good candidate.
গ) It was said by them that he is to be a good candidate.
ঘ) He was believed by them as a good candidate.
Note : They said he is a good candidate' বাক্যটি Past Indefinite Tense এর active voice। 'he' object হিসেবে passive এর subject হবে। 'said' এর passive হলো 'was said'। 'to be a good candidate' অপরিবর্তিত থাকবে। সুতরাং সঠিক passive form He was said to be a good candidate।
